In 2025, the popular MINI Convertible returns. The MINI Cooper Convertible is a two-door coupe with a drop top and all of the charm of the MINI brand. It is styled with many of the design language elements now found in the latest MINI models and has spirited capabilities.

From the front view, the 2025 MINI Cooper Convertible has a smoothly swooping hood that cascades to a flat nose. The wide, chrome-outlined grille features a large, body-colored crossbar. The circular LED headlights show off LED bars at the top and bottom as well as a pair of LED bulbs. The wheels have a fascinating look with staggered, linear elements across the spokes. The smooth sides are underscored by dark molding. The side molding trends across the top of the rear bumper. The trunk lid folds downward, allowing you to slide your cargo in easily. Eleven exterior paint colors will be available in 2025.

The circular OLED infotainment system screen measures 9.5 inches in the open-air cabin. The dashboard has a clean look and boasts a head-up display for elevated safety and awareness on the road. The convertible top retracts while the vehicle is moving less than 20 miles per hour and is completely folded down in 18 seconds. The top can also be partially opened to act as a sunroof while driving at higher speeds. There is also an Always Open Timer, which tells you how much time you spend driving with the top down. Other features include parking assistance, lane keeping, and steering assistance.

The MINI Cooper Convertible is available with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The system produces 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. If you select the MINI Cooper S Convertible, your MINI's engine will deliver 201 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. The transmission for both systems is a seven-speed auto, dual-clutch transmission.
